I have been attending Shred415 classes for the past 4 years, but over the last 2 years, I started taking classes more frequently. I had lost 20 pounds shredding last year, but after taking a new job with a more challenging schedule, all the weight came back plus more. I was working out at my work gym but it wasn’t the same, so I decided to get back into the studio. Upon my return, I felt very welcomed by Hannah, the assistant manager at Shred415 Lincoln Park! I was always greeted with “nice to see you again” or “I miss you.” She took special notice of me, even commenting that my runs were getting faster during class. That felt so great!
When my wedding was planned for May 22nd, 2020 I signed up for the Shred to the Wed package. I got right back into it, and I started to feel confident and strong. I was ready for my big day! Then came the quarantine. My bridal shower was cancelled, my bachelorette followed, and finally, my wedding was cancelled as well.
I was devastated to have to postpone the wedding, but waking up to IG stories of Shred415 Co-founders, Bonnie and Tracy doing everything they could for their Shredders and staff (not to mention the Livestream workouts) motivated me to keep going. I knew I couldn’t give up. My daily workout routine during quarantine started with a run outside or a bike ride, followed up with a Shred415 Livestream workout. I did this everyday!
Recently, I had my wedding dress fitting and they had to take it in! I am down 10 more pounds! 25 pounds in total and I cannot wait to proudly wear my dress on our new date, 7.17.2020! Thank you Shred415 for helping me get Shredded for my wedding and for keeping me going through this crazy time!
