Before I found Shred415, my typical trip to the gym involved a little running and some weight lifting. I would also jump into the occasional bootcamp/HIIT class. I’ve always been sporadic with working out — I would do well for a few months but ultimately I have struggled with consistency. Shred415 changed that for me.
I tried my first Shred415 class in March before COVID-19 hit, and immediately I was hooked. When I joined, I was determined to get my money’s worth so I committed to going 3 to 4 times per week. I love all the instructors and the accountability that comes with group fitness. Each instructor is unique and brings a different energy to the class, so it never gets old.
I’m proud to say that I have gotten so much stronger since starting my journey with Shred415. I have increased my ending warm-up pace by 0.5 mph, and I have also graduated to the 15-20 lb dumbbells. When quarantine hit, I kept up my routine at home with Shred415 virtual classes. I also started walking outside and continued to eat healthy. Quarantine was no match for my dedication.
Overall, I’ve lost about 10 lbs and two pant sizes. I am wearing clothes I haven’t worn in years, and it has been such a reward! I love seeing how many calories I burn in each class too! The best part though? How I feel! I’m confident, strong, and happy – not too bad for 2020!
