We’ll start with bodyweight movements to warm up and prepare your muscles for the strength work ahead. Each session focuses on specific muscle groups, with a variety of exercises designed to challenge and build strength. Your instructor will guide you through every movement, offering cues and modifications to help you choose the right weights and get the most out of each segment.

During the warm-up on the treads, we’ll ease your legs into motion and help you find your Ending Warm-up Pace (EWP)—a steady pace you could comfortably maintain for 15 minutes on a flat road, whether you’re walking, jogging, or running. You’ll carry this pace through the segment as we guide you through interval drills. Listen to your body—you control the speed, and we’ll bring the motivation!

I’ve been going to Shred off and on for 10 years.

Lauren is by far my favorite if you want a serious challenge—she goes heavy on the weights and keeps the cardio fast and fierce. Madison has the best playlists—so good, my teenager won’t train with anyone else. And of course, you can’t go wrong with the OGs of Shred, Bonnie and Tracey—they bring experience, energy, and (trust me) Tracey’s energy is off the charts. Shred is a great overall workout for all levels of fitness!

My best friend and I had an amazing time at Shred 415 Lincoln Park! We work at the Shred 415 in Cincinnati and were looking forward to trying out the Chicago location while on a girls trip. Bonnie was an amazing instructor and so much fun!

I've been taking classes at shred since 2017. And even through pregnancy and other breaks, I find myself coming back to shred each and every time. It's such a fun, enjoyable atmosphere. I feel challenged and strong and encouraged to do whatever my best is. I would highly recommend for anyone who is looking to challenge themselves or ready to tap into a version of themselves that they didn't know before.

I love Shred 415! I’ve been part of the Shred community for over 2 years now. This is the longest I’ve ever been part of a workout community. It’s always challenging, I’m definitely stronger and I’m fortunate to have made some great friends along the way!

I hate running so much. I would rather get my cardio in by doing burpees any day. Seriously, ANY day. However, once I started running 5k/10k, I quickly realized that I could just rawdog that anymore (at almost 50 years old). I took up Shred415 because only half the class was running, but I gotta tell you, I look forward to those tread sessions now! My base pase has increased, my speed and stamina has increased and I have noticed multiple seconds being shaved off my mile time with each race. 5/5 stars highly recommend.

Been going to shred since 2022 and have tried out a few different locations but Lincoln Park is by far the best. Great staff and instructors just wish they had more late afternoon/night class options for those of us who work a 9-5

I’ve been a member of many gyms over the years, but this one truly stands out. I like everything they stand for. The classes are well-designed, functional, and always offer opportunities to push yourself to new limits. The atmosphere is motivating and makes you want to show up. I’ve seen more progress here than with any other fitness program I’ve been a part of, and for the first time, I genuinely look forward to working out. I can now do push ups and run a 5k routinely, that I could never do before. Today I brought my 3 year old for the children’s class and he had a great time. Highly recommend!

I recently joined here and have been loving it these past two months. I injured myself yesterday accidentally on my bike at home and had to call and cancel my class this morning and they were extremely accommodating and understanding. Hoping to be back asap!

Shred415 is not only an amazing workout, but it is the best community. Every shredder is so welcoming and supportive, whether it’s workout or life goals. The classes are always fun, and it is clear the instructors put a lot of time and effort into planning an awesome workout with great music. Hands down, the best workout in the city!

I love the floor-only classes at Shred in Lincoln Park. I’m not really into running so these classes offer great strength training plus the elevated heart rate Shred is known for!

I used to take Shred classes through Zoom during the pandemic. So, when I was looking for a place to workout, I decided to try some real classes here. I’m never a runner, and I don’t do treadmills, but S415 got me to run on treadmills. 😝 Classes are intense but super fulfilling. I usually burn 100-150cal over other HIIT classes in the 60min Shred classes. Instructors are really lively and encouraging (🫶🏼Tracy!). It's only been a week-ish working out here, but I am loving this place! ❤️

Absolutely love shredd, did both shredd the wed and the bump in preparation for my wedding and now post baby! Love the results, the atmosphere and the trainers. The childcare is awesome and let’s me husband and I both attend workouts!

Took my first class today with Hannah and had such an amazing time! As a previous OTF member, I was excited to hear the coaches design their own programing meaning no repeated workouts every couple of weeks 🙂

Absolutely love the encouragement to modify workouts as needed to work best for you, I tend to power walk on a high incline and this was totally fine during the running section.

Can’t wait to get my next class booked and come back, the energy & music were amazing and made the workout feel a lot more fun!

I love that no matter which Shred studio I walk into, I know that I'm going to get a great workout in an energetic environment. Between the differentiation in segment times and each instructor's unique style/approach, it never feels mundane or gets old.

Could not be happier that I found Shred415! I started going last July and almost 200 classes later, I am still motivated and feeling excited to go to class. This is also a place that everyone is welcome no matter what your fitness level is, which I really appreciated when I started out!

I have been going to Shred LP for 4 months now and the workouts are awesome. I have never been great at running on the treadmill, but the way the instructors set up the workouts has already helped me improve so much on the tred. I feel great when I leave and I am always looking forward to my next class. Every instructor has their own way of teaching and makes each workout different so I don’t feel like I’m doing the same thing every time. They also have so many class time options which makes it easy for me to make multiple classes a week even with my crazy work schedule. I am definitely hooked!
